Testimony 05-19-2020
TESTIMONY
This afternoon, I needed something at a local store, so I headed there. After parking, I saw that there was a line of people waiting to get into the store. One person leaves, one person is permitted to enter.
When I got to front of the line, I saw a young man I have ministered to in the past. He is now lit on fire for Christ. But I could see that he was struggling with the whole virus thing.
He saw me and lit up. “Pastor, how are you doing? Are you worried about this virus?”
Not in the least…
The look on his face spoke volumes to me. He was wrestling in his mind why I wasn’t bothered. I was certain he was trying to figure out why, so I said, “God told the church I serve, do not fear this virus. Put on the full armor of God each day. The virus cannot touch you.”
You should have seen his face. It lit up and he was full of joy! He was ready to dance and twirl knowing he didn’t have to worry about the plague touching him any longer.
The Spirit of God told me, “He doesn’t know how to put on the full armor…”
So, I said, “Here is what you do. Every morning, get up and say, “Father in the name of Jesus, I put on the full armor of God!”
He said, “That’s it!”
That’s it.
Believe by faith that God does what you ask, and you will be safe.
I left a very happy young man behind as I walked into the store. So grateful that God is still on the move in our lives.
