If you love Me

Jesus said to His Disciples, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15

That means the Disciples must have known His commandments. They had been walking with Him for three and a half years. Training, learning, doing.

Do you know any of them? The thing is, if you truly love Him, you should know each and every one of them, and more, be following them. They should be part of your life.

Even this Word to us is a command

So here they are…. Meditate on them. Just reading them here won’t do a thing for you. We’ve even added a printer link on the page for your convenience.

Love Your God
Matt 22:37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Matt 22:38 “This is the first and great commandment.

Love Your Neighbor
Matt 22:39 “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

Repent
Matt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Do Not Worry
Matt 6:25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Matt 6:26 “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Matt 6:27 “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Follow Me
Matt 4:19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Rejoice and be Glad
Matt 5:12 “Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Let your Light shine
Matt 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Honor Gods Law

Be Reconciled

Matt 5:24 “leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Do Not Lust

Do Not Swear
Matt 5:34 “But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne;

Do Not Resist an evil person

Love Your enemies
Matt 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

Matt 6:20 “but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Matt 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matt 7:8 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Walk in Perfect Justice
Matt 7:12 “Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Walk the Narrow Path

Matt 7:14 “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Beware of False Prophets
Matt 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Matt 7:16 “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles?

Mark 10:14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
Mark 10:15 “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Mark 10:16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.

Matt 19:5 “and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?
Matt 19:6 “So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Serve Others First
Matt 20:26 “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.
