Bedtime Prayer
God is calling us to see the night differently.
Obey this calling.
There is a reason why God is bringing this up.
He wants us to be ready not just during the day but also to be ready in the night, for we do not know if His arrival will be in the night.
There are those who are being tormented at night. Here is some guidance.
Points:
1. Put on the nightly Armor of God and declare no enemy can be formed against you in the flesh.
2. Call on the Name of the Lord. Put your shield up over your dwelling place to dwell under God’s wings. For God is your shield.
3. Ask for the Spirit of Rejuvenation.
4. Declare the entrance to Heaven.
5. Declare in the Name of Jesus that in the spirit you stand, stretch out your wings, and fly. Expect to get rest!
Example Prayer:
“Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus I put on the nightly Armor of God so that no enemy may come against me.
I call upon the Name of the Lord and declare that I dwell under Your wings and Your shield this night.
I declare in the Name of Jesus that I stand and stretch out my wings in the spirit so that I may enter the Gates of Heaven tonight.
I ask in the Name of Jesus for the Spirit of Rejuvenation/Restoration throughout the night and for the Spirit of Joy to follow me in the morning. Amen.”
That’s it! Now, lay down, and expect a move of GOD for your night hours.
Isn’t GOD Great! Oh, Jesus! Holy Spirit! Thank You Three!
Scriptures
Here are some verses for revelation:
Psalm 23:1-3 “The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of Righteousness for His Name’s sake.”
Psalm 18:1-3 “I love You, O LORD, my Strength. The LORD is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer, my God, my Rock, in whom I take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my Salvation, my Stronghold. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be Praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 4:8 “In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.”
Psalm 132:2-5 “I will not enter my house or get into my bed, I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
